• Passports (be sure the date of expiration is six months past the date you leave the US). Have a photo of it in your phone for emergencies.

• Notify your bank and cell service if you don't travel often

Payments

• Most all places will accept credit card, so it's not necessary to bring a significant amount of cash. You will be able to withdraw Euro from the ATMs when you get to Ireland.   

• It's customary to tip 10-15% of your total bill at restaurants. Service will ask if you would like to leave a tip on the card, or you can leave cash.

• When you pay with your credit card, you will be given the option to pay in dollars or euros. The exchange rate your bank/cc company offers on euro transactions (plus any potential fees) is usually better than the rates the merchants payment processing company offers. It's recommended to pay in euros.

Attire​

• We kindly ask that you NOT WEAR WHITE on the wedding day...or get ready for a dip in the Kenmare Bay. 

• Prepare for all types of weather - especially rain. Most hotels will offer umbrellas to use and return.

• Pack layers since the weather often changes significantly throughout the day.

• Recommended attire for each event is listed in our updated itinerary.

Sheen Falls Check-in

• Please contact Sheen Falls ahead of your arrival with your ETA, so they can be best prepared to welcome you. 

• Keep an eye out for our welcome gift bag we'll have left in your room!

• Contact Ronn at SF Guest Relations to make dinner reservations for July 5th. A private shuttle will be running to and from Sheen Falls and downtown Kenmare from 6-10 pm.
